Overview

This project is about drawing a colour illustration of a mechanical object using Adobe Illustrator. The intent of this project is to demonstrate skills in the usage of shapes, pen tool, transfusions, pathfinder functions and swatches. After finishing the drawing, I made an Ad poster for the product.

Process

I built the product by using shapes and adding gradients. I devided the layers of each part of the product.

I found the stock image has a wooden table and looks dark for the background. Because I tend to make it look professional to represent their Ad line 'The Barista Touch'.

For the copy write, I took their Ad line and put some coffee beans.

Lastly, I located the product drawing on the floor. Added some shadow and adjusted brightness and contrast so that it looks more natural and actual product.
